the solution

I built a code graph for an application with 20 years of history in ColdFusion and JavaScript. It maps the connections across the codebase so developers and AI can understand how the pieces depend on each other.

It helped answer dependency questions and improve the accuracy of AI-generated code. Instead of working from an isolated file, the AI could use the surrounding functions, shared data, and related modules as context for a change.

what it can do

  1. 1Find what depends on a function

Shows where a function is used and which parts of the application connect to it.

  2. 2Follow shared data

Finds modules that read or change the same database tables, including connections that are not obvious from function calls alone.

  3. 3Assess a proposed change

Helps identify the functions, modules, and data relationships worth checking before an edit.

  4. 4Help AI generate more accurate code

Gives coding agents context about the existing ColdFusion and JavaScript application through MCP. They can check dependencies and related code before generating a change.

  5. 5Show where more investigation is needed

Includes coverage information with its answers. It makes clear when a relationship may fall outside what the map can see.
